The procedure for breast enlargement surgery
The implant is normally inserted through an incision made in the natural crease beneath the breast. It is also possible to make the incision in the armpit or around the edge of the areola.
The procedure generally requires an overnight stay in hospital.
Recovery from breast enlargement surgery
Following breast enlargement surgery, you will need to keep your breasts well supported. Your stitches and/or dressings will be removed after seven days, at which time you can return to work.
